Our Story

Ryan Thomas Stevens was born on September 12, 2005, and spent his early years in Haverhill, Massachusetts before moving to Venice, Florida with his family. A cherished son and loving brother, Ryan brought warmth, humor, and a genuine sense of care to everyone around him. He had a natural ability to make others feel valued and appreciated.

Ryan was a driven and passionate learner who graduated with honors from Venice High School and was on track to earn his Associate’s Degree from Tallahassee State College before continuing at Florida State University. He was always looking ahead, while still cherishing time with his family, especially summers at Newfound Lake.

Ryan will be remembered for his kindness and his love for sports and statistics. Whether following his favorite teams or diving into fantasy sports and detailed analysis, he brought energy and joy to everything he did.

The Ryan Thomas Stevens Foundation was created to carry forward the qualities that made Ryan so special—his curiosity, his drive, and his kindness. Through scholarships and community initiatives, the foundation aims to support students who share Ryan’s passion for learning, growth, and pursuing their goals.

Our scholarships are designed to recognize students who are not only academically motivated, but who are thoughtful, driven, and excited about their future—just like Ryan was. By investing in these students, we hope to continue the impact Ryan would have made in the world.

More than anything, this foundation exists to keep Ryan’s spirit alive—by encouraging others to lead with kindness, stay curious, and make the most of every opportunity in front of them.
